92 accord EX - Cruise control diagnosis
Hey Now,
I recently found the forum and am impressed. Looking for some help on my cruise control that doesn't work. I posted once to the DIY Request sub forum but not sure if that is the wrong place, so here goes... How do I determine if the problem is the servo/actuator, a sticky cable, or a dead control box? I'd like to replace the problem part on the first try.
The fuses all check out, and the actuator connector is plugged in. The green light on the cruise button works. When driving the dash cruise light comes on when I set the cruise, but nothing happens. Should I be testing some of the circuits? I've got 200K on the car and have kept it in great shape.
Any help? Many thanks!

RE: 92 accord EX - Cruise control diagnosis
The smaller vacuum line was pulling a vacuum. I sprayed the connector w/ elec cleaner to no effect. The cable is old but seems to work OK. I might test the wiring harness at the controller, but am planning on buying a new actuator. I'll report back with progress.
