Default 92 accord ex has rough idle-accelleration -

260,000 miles and I have no right to complain - but - the last couple of days it seems to have a really rough (almost missing) idle that would smooth out with accel rpms. - - today however the problem has snowballed to where the engine is just dancing like it is missing - I have good fire to all four spark plugs - fuel injection system. I recently had to have it towed to the dealer and was diagnosed as the "igniter" which set me back a couple hundy. I have put new wires, cap, roter on in the last six months. Most of the similiar postings I see refer to vacuum leaks but let me ask this first. When I put the fire tracer on the plug wires all is fine but when I put the fire tracer on the distributor wire the diaode flashes brighter when the engine is missing and bucking! I really feel like it is an electrical issue of some kind. THOUGHTS ANYONE ANYONE??

Try checking your EGR Valve and Egr Ports under fuel rail. Those ports can get clogged up with carbon over time and make it Missfire.
