92 accord flex pipe leak

RE: 92 accord flex pipe leak
There is a "muffler repair tape" available at auto parts stores that might do a serviceable fix for a few weeks.
Another option is tightly wrapped heavy thickness aluminum foil (or adhesive backed aluminum wrap from home depot, et al) , covered w/ thin aluminum sheeting and held in place w/ large worm gear clamps. It may be tough to get a tight seal, so perhaps use some HT RTV to first seal the holes before wrapping. Temperatureof flex joint will damage most putty.
I've sealed an exhaust pipe w/ just a wrap of sheet metal tightly clamped w/ worm-gear clamps, but rough surface of flex joint may not work w/ just a metal sheet.
good luck

My father would remove both ends off of a soup can to have an open cylinder. He would cut the cylinder down one side, and use that along with two hose clamps as a temporary fix.
