'92 Accord Transmission and Window probs
I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX, First off my transmission has been messing up for quite some time now. When I crank the car up the D4 light will stay on and I will only have 1st and 2nd gear. After a while of driving it, it works fine, like it had to warm up or something. Then sometimes after a while of driving it, I'll cut it off then when I go to cut it back on the D4 light flashes. Any help?
Also, the right rear window is making this grinding sound when I go to put it down, sometimes it will go down and not come up and sometimes it will go down and come up but not all the way. It's not off track or anything because i checked. Any help with that as well?

You have symptoms of trans control unit problems which are fairly common in 1990-1993 accords. Cut/paste following link to your browser for guidance on diagnosis.

Rear window suggests the window regulator is damaged. Usual fix is to replace the regulator mechanism.
good luck
