Default '92 cruise control controller omit

I am about to remove my fuel pump relay. In the process I'll have the cruise control controller box out of the car.

My cruise control doesn't work and I am OK with that. Can I just leave the controller out of the car...or, are there non-cruise functions involved?

Thanks,

Roy

You should be fine. Looking at the wire diagrams I don't see and "outputs" from the control unit that do/go to anything else.

Thanks Poorman. I'll leave it off and report back just for good measure.

Final report: after 10 days of driving w/o the cruise control controller (grey box just below the fuel pump relay) I can detect no loss-of-function other than the cruise control.

Thanks for the update....I was pretty sure by what i saw in the diagrams but you never really know what "other" systems may "check in" on the others.
