I've done this job a couple of times on a 90 Accord. The referenced procedure is pretty good, however I think you may run into acouple of problems that I encountered. The ECU/TCU housing does not have to be completely disconnected (connectors are very difficult to release), but release the mounting nuts and rotate about the connector end towards the center console. It is out of the way in that position.

Second problem is removal of the blower module after release of all fasteners are released. It would not come straight out as depicted in the procedure. I had to rotate about 90 degs top towards front of car(I think) to get the module to come out w/o contacting other parts.

Reason I did this twice was I purchased a Cardone rebuilt blower which only lasted 1 yr, and required replacing. I decided to go w/ an inexpensive used blower when I replaced 2nd time and it was still going when I sold the car several years later.

good luck
