Default '92 Front balance shaft sprocket removal

Hi,

I am having no luck removing the cap screw which holds the front balance shaft sproket on to the shaft. I am using a rubber strap wrench to hold the sproket...the same method/tool which worked to hold the cam sprocket. But, there is just too much slip of the rubber belt and I can't break that bolt free.

I am, obviously, worried about bunging up the sprocket if I move to large channel-locks, pipe wrenches, and such. I have already heated up the screw some, and applied Liquid Wrench.

Anyway, suggestions as to the right tool would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Roy

Thanks for looking, but never mind.

I had messed around with this problem for a while before posting. After posting, I messed around some more before I noticed the very nice hole the very nice Honda people put in the shaft.

Shove a 6" shaft #2 Phillips screw driver in said hole, let the screw driver handle rotate and contact the alternator bracket...break stuck cap screw free without any problem at all.

Sorry about the premature post.
