93 4dr accord window prob

Default 93 4dr accord window prob

my driver side window slips out of place when i roll it all the way up and leaves a gap open and kind of overlaps on the outside is that a regulator problem or just some loose bolts somewhere any help appreciated thanks

get the door panel off, and look around.
from the description it sounds like the regulator is bad, or the run channel is out of the holders.
There is some adjustment to let it tilt foward and backward, as well as that you can move the bottom of the run channels in a little .
While it's all apart, lube the window run channels with silicone spray.

I would check t make sure the bolts aren't loose, on my 91 accord, I just got it and I rolled the window down and it slipped off the track and shattered the window. It was cuased because the bolts for the track were loose causing it to have pressure pushing it out of the track. I would check this first. It's very noticeable, just take off door panel and roll the window up and down u can see all the bolts that are loose.

theres a TSB on this issue. the window track needs to be aligned.
