I had a 95 accord for 11 years. It was a very reliable vehicle.

I would suggest getting your car running. There are enough 94-97 accords out there for you to get a wire harness from a u-pull-it yard. I'd get the wire harness from a 96/97 accord that is a LX or DX. The donor accord should have the same transmission (automatic or manual trans) as well.

I'm suggesting replacing the wire harness under the dash. It might take some work, but you would be able to connect an OBD2 standard scanner to troubleshoot issues with your car.

THANK YOU. My wife is pushing me to trade it in or sell it and i just dont want to. its a great car. it had a blown head gasket which was my fault that lead to me having the engine replaced. its not the cars fault i was pushing it way too hard on open flat desert road. and its not starting now because the guy that installed the new engine is an idiot. once i get her back up and running ive got easily 100,000 more miles on ir

You may want to try checking for codes. It is very simple to do. Here is a link on how to do this.

Myself, I'd try and get a 94 engine harness and a 94 distributor and get it up and running. Once you've done that, you can decide which way to go. I only say that, as that way you keep it more closer to what it is (just has a newer engine with lower miles).

I've got a 97 Accord sedan sitting here that's been for sale all summer (I've been driving my 99 Accord sedan) and I've only had a couple of people stop and look at it. What I'm trying to say, is that you might find you won't get much for it if you sell it, so you might as well fix it and drive it. It's probably a good car once it's been fixed. I really liked my 97, as it rode smooth, was quiet and tight with no rattles and it doesn't pull (even a little bit), but I got a newer Accord.
