yeah im going to have it checked tomorrow, do you guys think autozone can check the tcu?

no, we already told you, you have to short the scs connector to flash the code.

They can't check your TCU. The 94 accord is obdI and isn't the standardized OBDII that came out in the 96 accords. Shorting that service connector is how you check the TCU. Just stick the paperclip in there and turn the key to the II postition (don't start the car though)

Hang on guys!!!!! He just had a dead battery!!!! Sometimes the computers get screwed up when the electrical system fails. If the problem was only that the terminals weren't making good contact, fix them or replace them .... also test the battery. Still it's a good idea to get the codes read, but I don't think there is any REAL problem here. If there are indicator lights or any kind of bad behavior after the battery is fixed for a few days, then I'd be concerned..... not concerned yet.

ok today i did the the tcu test, and i didnt get any codes, i changed my motor mounts and the car runs much better and the d4 light hasent came back on, i also did the ecu and i got 7 flashes which is throttle sensor, do you guys think thats was causing my surging idle?

there are a lot of things that can cause a surging idle and a bad throttle sensor isn't going to help matters, it could have been doing any variety of things depending on what type of faliure it had....

From the sounds of this post your tranny issue is gone for now.... did I miss read that?
