Default 94 Accord EX rod knock?

I recently had the oil changed in my Accord. I'm not sure what weight/type of oil the PO used but the shop I went to added 5W30.
I don't know if the oil weight is related but the engine has a pretty loud "knock" sound now.
Any suggestions on correcting that or do I need to start looking at a new engine?

Did they fill the oil to the correct level? Check the oil level. You want to make sure the shop didn't screw up andforget toadd enough oil back to your engine.

I always check the oil before leaving the shop, it was good.
I just went out to check the oil...just in case, it's good.
The valves do make a continuous "ticking" noise. Those are adjusteable, right?

they are adjustable and it's not to hard to do. Go to our DIY section and there is a full detailed write-up on it.

some cars like my 94 will always tick due to excessive wear on cam journal.....not a problem but it sounds like a sewing machine
