94 Accord Radiator Fan does not stop running
I have a 94 Honda Accord with 170,000 miles.
Just tonight when my wife came home, the radiator fan would not turn off for several minutes. No lights showed overheating. Started up the engine let it run, sprayed the radiator. Turned off the engine. The radiator was actually cool enough to be able to touch. Fan still running.
The fan ran for 5 minutes or more with no sign of stopping. I disconnected the battery to keep it from discharging.
Any ideas what is wrong?
I assume it is some type of thermostat. Where is it? Is it something that I could change myself?[/align]

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. There's a 'sensor' in that hose nipple. Unplug it & the fan should stop running.
There's alsoa fan timer module that turns off the fan after 15 minutes, even if that switch is stuck. Have you waited long enough to check whether this works?
