Default need help diagnosing radiator fan not running

2007 Accord I4 automatic

I finally completed putting in my transmission. And low and behold when I go to test it out I notice the radiator fans not coming on. Engine got about 3/4 of the way up the temp gauge. The radiator fans do run if you put the A/C on but do not come on with them off.

Is this most likely the sensor on the bottom of the radiator?

I replaced the radiator when I did the transmission but I was extremely careful removing the old sensor. It is possible the old sensor was not working before I have not driven the car that much to know and probably had the A/C on.

If both fans run with the A/C on; then, yes, it can be the ECT sensor at the bottom of the radiator or the ECT wiring or connector. Examine the terminals on the connector and wiring. The ECM/PCM uses input from the ECT sensor to control the fans.

Seems to be working now. I was considerably low on antifreeze and had air in the system. I think that may have caused the sensor to act wonky..
