since you repeatedly pulled codes 13,14 i think the ECM is toast. the FSM says that code 13 a problem with the BARO sensor in the ECM which senses air pressure.

code 14 points to a bad ECM.

These are transmission error codes that are flashing.
13. Main shaft speed pulse generator open or shorted.
14. Linear (line pressure control) solenoid open or shorted.

Error code 13 for the BARO sensor is a CEL error code

But do you still think it could be the computer?

no, these codes are for a flashing D4

http://wikipediads.org/tcm-codes.pdf

the manual also mentions electrical shorts. that smell while you were driving could've been electronics frying which smells like burning plastic

Just wanted to update... It was indeed the ECU. Bought a rebuilt computer from Advance Auto and had Honda install it. Car is back on the road.
Thanks guys

Glad you have solved the problem on your ride crystal.

I dont mean to hijack your thread but i have a question to all the accord gurus here, is there anyway that we could do to prevent this from happening? As the saying goes. " prevention is better than cure" or is it normal as to wear and tear is concered.

Thanks

I think the only way to do preventative maintenance on an ECU is to open up the case and look for signs of bad components. Capacitors that are starting to bulge or leak would need replaced. Any resistor that looked burned, etc...

TexasHonda is a mod on here and had to replace his ECU. When he looked at the old broken ECU, he didn't notice any problems.
