Default 94 Accord Vtak Solenoid Leaking

The Vtec Solenoid gasket is leaking and from what I have read its fairly common esp with high miles. I sprayed some carb cleaner around it to get the oil out of the area and sure enough its leaking out of the top pretty bad. The part is also hard to find I guess, but I managed to find one on ebay for 20 bucks. Before I buy it, I want to double check that it is indeed what I need.

Yes, that's the part. I installed one quite a few years back on my 94 EX and no problems since. Oring gets very hard and begins to leak.

good luck

A wobbly extension will allow access to bolts beneath egr rim.

good luck

Well, there are two o-rings, that is the "lower" o-ring.....why not try the top o-ring, since you say that is where it is coming from?

EDIT: Online Honda dealers, you can get BOTH o-rings for ~$10 ?
