car was totaled, front end smashed to hell.anyways motor/trans is still good i picked up a prelude shell for 700$.

can the motor go out through the bottom and i just use my hoist to lift the car over it?im trying to not remove the trans to speed up the process?

It can come out the bottom. I find it easier to take the transmission out with the engine as its just easier to separate them outside of the car than try to do it in the engine bay. And its just a few more things to disconnect to get the transmission out.

Thanks for the reply,So im guessing the radius rods and front cross member need to be dropped, before attempting to squeeze the motor out?
