So here is my question: should I spend the money to replace the map sensor, or is it another problem?
I did the same thing and that's what it wasn't my Honda's trying to stay is my IAC but what's weird about it is when I put the car in the drive it goes down to normal 1200 but when I started it it goes right up to 3,000 I have replaced the stupid computer the IAC map and the sensor and I still have a high Rev

Damn I'm sorry you have the same problem that I do and I replace so much stuff and it's still the same with the check engine light on and check engine lights trying to save the IAC and I've already replaced that so if anybody has any idea what's going on with these Hondas please reach out and let me know

@Hondagirl2024 The threads you are posting on are pretty old and the original poster may not be active on this site anymore. You should start a new thread an let us know what work has been done on the car before and after the idle issue came up, the codes you are getting with the check engine light, etc. We might be able to help figure out the issue.
