I had my 1994 Honda accord LX engine light diagnosed. and was told the problem was TDC sensor fault. I asked my Honda dealer (who did not do the diagnostic)for cost information. He claimed in my model Honda there was no TDC sensor. What is going on?

Welcome to HAF, I see this is your first post.

Would be nice to know the actual code......but without that and your description.....sounds like you just need to replace the distributor and call it a day?

There are some tests you can do to confirm the issue it you want to go there.

Again, without the actual code....I'm guessing based upon what you stated.

 

TDC sensor is inside the distributor, not replaceable separately.

But you CAN check for dirty/loose/corroded wiring connections at the distributor.
