I moved this to a new thread.

Since you just got the car, saw your post with the abs issue. I'd check and bleed the coolant. Can give details when you are ready.

Next, you want to check the cooling fan operation. Does the AC work on this car? If so, start the engine and turn the ac on - do BOTH fans on the rad come on? If the ac does not work, we can give some other testing that can be done.

ok. both fans work when a/c is on and gets cold. i replaced thermostat. cleaned both sensors. one at thermostat and the one going into motor from top rad hose. drained radiator and refilled it. i ran it in garage to temp. and abs light doesnt show up anymore. if i fixed it, thank you for the asisstance. much apreciated.

On the t-stat housing, where the lower rad hose connects to the engine. There is a two wire green connector.

Remove that connector. On the wire side, jump the two pins on the connector with a paper clip or wire. Turn the key to "on"-engine does not need to be running, do BOTH fans come on?

If so. Connect everything back up and start the car. Turn the ac off, turn the blower off (no air blowing inside the car) and let it run.

As it is running, keep an eye on the temp gauge - it at any point it gets over half way turn the engine off - key all the way out. If this happens and you pull the key, note if one fans comes on under the hood with the key off/out and engine off.

If you let it run, lets say +20 minutes (not sure where in the world you live), the coolling fans (BOTH) should cycle at some point....and by cycle I mean they come on for a few seconds (~20 ?) and then shut off.

Let us know what happens.
