Default 95 2.2l Non Vtec Ignition Domino effect???

Here is the problem. Driving home Tach/Speedo go on come off D4 blinking. So, in my wisdom doing checks before I changed the distributor. No joy, spark confirmed at the plugs. Do checks at Key II position no lites on dash...Windows wont open etc.., replaced ignition switch..Lites on dash normal now, go to posit II CEL lite comes on 3 Sec then goes off, windows work that problem solved, now there is no sparkat plugs, pulled and grounded High tension wire from Coil and cranked...No spark..Dont have Ohm meter any one have any Ideas. Could be things are just failing in the domino affect or what. I know the new Dizzy is good due to the spark check after replacing the first time..Talk about frustrated... Thanks....Joe

Without a test light or volt meter this is going to be hard? Make sure the under hood and under dash fuses are good, might have shorted something during the switch install.

With a volt meter or test light:
First question would be, check the blk/yel wire at the dist for 12v?
