Hello everyone, first time posting.

I have a 95 Accord V6 and I was driving it today with no problem. I hit a NASTY pothole and bottom out the suspension in the front right side.

When I put the key in and turn to "ON" I get full power to the car. All dash lights and headlights working at full power. When I turn to "START" I get nothing. No click from the starter, no loss of electrics.

I noticed that my bumper (which is already all kinds of messed up from two minor front end accidents 6 months ago) is hanging a little bit.

Any help?

Things I already checked:
My battery is secure and is tightly connected to my terminals.


Thanks for looking. I'm stuck at home after a successful trip. I have surgery in 7 hours and need to figure this out soon.

 

Upon further inspection i'm pretty sure the starter is fried. Is it possible to go from fully working to completely dead overnight?

 

Anything is possible.

I would check that the two electrical connections to the starter are clean and secure. You might want to check that the smaller wire gets 12V when you try to turn the key to the start position. You'll need and assistant for this.
