Where I was wanting to go/know - do both codes come back or just one. One could have been set long ago and addressed or a "one time" thing. Don't want to chase something that has already been fixed
Yeah, makes perfect sense. None of this stuff with the codes or CEL was happening before my head swap though. Passed emissions with flying colors every time.

Still never really got anything figured out with my CEL lights or anything. Does anyone know what I have to do to get the TDC sensor #2 code to go away? I don't even know anything about the sensor, where it is, how to fix it... No one even knows what it is at the autoparts store.

The TDC sensor (along with the CKP & CYP sensors) are built into the distributor. They're not available except to replace the distributor.

But check the wiring connections to the distributor. I think some of those signal wires are shielded, just so you're aware if you find something that needs repair.
