the car runs great i just put a new timing cover and harmonic balancer and with my timing light i can only see the marks where they should be at 40 degrees advanced. and i off a tooth ? it run perfect but i need the smog people to see the marks

 

Is the service connector jumped while doing this?

 

i retimed the engine with service connector jumped and the only way the car runs good is at full retard on the dizzy.if i move it to full advance (were the timing marks match up ) it bogs with no power. am i a tooth off and if i am does that mean i need to turn the cam one tooth clock wise to fix this problem

 

Time to pull the covers and check the marks....was the belt recently replaced?
