96 with No Signal Lights
Ok so I jumped in old reliable this very cold Am and attempted my first right turn and found that I have no turn signals? Now about two months back this happened momentarily and seemed to correct itself. Well this time I didn't have the same luck. The Hazerd flashers work fine. In a desperate attempt I stopped at the local Napa without any troubleshooting and or investigating bought a flasher which was not the issue, waste of 16.00 dollars!
(my Fault) Anyway after searching here on the Forum (no luck) I thought it's time to post up! So what have you all experianced in this situation? I thought it might be the combo switch, lights signals etc.? But don't these things typicly do funny things before going dead? I have pulled shaken and pushed on the stalk while trying to make the signals come on,No Dice! I checked the fuse under the dash it was good, not sure but is there another fuse in this circuit? Is there a test procedure for the combo switch? Any other Ideas??
Thanks

1. Which under-dash fuse did you check? Was it Fuse No. 12 (7.5A) in the Auxiliary Fuse Holder?
2. Check or re-check fuse no. 12.
3. You can also do some tests as shown in the service manual at the socket terminals for the relay.

Yes Fuse 12 7.5 was checked with an Ohmeter and is good. And like I said I bought a flasher on a whim hoping it was that simple,it wasn't. Is that a factory service manual that you are using Red? If so are there any other TS instructions that I can try? I have a Chiltons manual and it's not very helpful when it's something very challenging..... Ok so if I follow step 3# this should tell me if the issue is in the the multiplexer switch. Roger I'll give it a shot I suspect this might just be the answer to this problem.....
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the help!

That is from the Honda service manual.
Have you tested for voltage at socket terminal B with the ignition turned ON (II)?
Have you jumped socket terminal B to terminal L, with the ignition turned ON (II) and the turn signal switched to left or right?
I would have to look at the circuit diagram to write up any additional tests that are not in the service manual.

Ok well it seems that I caught a break! The issue turned out to be my hazzerd button!
I got in the car this am thought I would test the flasher in case I had somone riding close and had to make a turn. It worked fine. I started to get out of the car and hit the signal,Bingo! I went back into the house broke out the diagram in the manuel and there it was! The switch must have been hung in between on and off,if this is possible? Anyway I pulled it out all the way and the signals now work. So I will replace this switch and should be good to go!
Thanks Red Bull..
