Very cool. I'm going to wait a day or so to let the existing exhaust gas leave the coolant, then I'll run it. I checked autozone about part rentals, and their block tester was damaged from the last person to use it anyway.

Alright, in an interesting turn of events, the block tester fluid came back blue after testing, showing no exhaust fumes in the coolant. This is especially odd, since the exhaust fumes still smell unusual, like an acrid sweet.

When I did the intake manifold, I only did the valve port gaskets and the throttle body gasket, since those were what looked damaged. Could it be that the plenum gasket is leaking somewhere? Does coolant even run near the plenum gasket?

Never heard of coolant into the intake manifold on an Accord, but have heard of this problem w/ GM V6's. Hopefully, problem is fixed.

good luck
