Default 97 Accord 2.7 Rats

So this is the same accord that tried to kill me a few years ago, its been chillin. I finally got it back going, had to put a new fuel pump in it and some other stuff, it has been running great.
I went out to start it today, (It hasnt been started in about a week) and it turned over and then thudded (stopped). Almost like a seized engine would do.
I popped the hood and saw a big rat run out from the pulley side of the engine. UGH.
I got back in and turned the key, it turned a half a crank then stopped (thud).
Battery has juice, I'm wondering if there may be some dead rat I crushed somewhere that's stopping it. But where!?

Ideas?

If you can't see an obstruction in the pulley/belt, you may have to remove the timing belt cover to see if they got the timing belt?

I think there is a view port in the timing cover to check, I have a scope I can check when its not 100 degrees out. Storms tomorrow. Could a bad starter wire cause this? It spun over and just when it spun enough to start, it thudded and all the lights went off on the dash. I released the key and had power back. (Just remembered this power issue).

Many times, rodents chew on the wires. Take a look also for chewed wires.

Honda even sell rodent tape treated with pepper to deter it.
