I have a 97 accord, auto…used very infrequently…the engine misses when under load roughly between 15mph-25mph, runs OK at higher speeds/rpm’s…what are the most likely causes besides the most obvious…air filter and fuel…plugs and plug wires….after that what? Thanks in advance for the help.

 

Clogged EGR ports. Google T2T013.pdf. The 94/97 procedure is on the last two pages.

As for the tune-up. Replace distributor cap and rotor as well. I suggest using NGK or the dealership spark plug wires. Only use the NGK V-power copper plugs in your car.
