Default 97 Accord EX head removal

So i need to replace a bent valve. I was wondering if anybody had good detailed instructions on how to remove the head to replace the valves and clean it up a bit.

i'm sure somebody will have a reference to the procedure, but in my opinion, pick up a service manual for your model. well worth the price in reduced aggravation.

Check Online Manuals post in DIY forum for a download 94-97 manual. This should be a good reference.

Check for instructive videos on youtube. Usually, I find that briansmobile1, ericthecarguy, or scottykilmer will have something applicable.

I would suggest having the head rebuilt completely; replace bent valve/s, new valve stem seals, reseat valves, check for leaks, and shave head perfectly flat. This last step is very important.

good luck
