97 Accord f22 vtec automatic coolant issues
I have a main issue when I would start the car. It would spin over just fine, but sometimes it wouldn't start because it would flood itself. Brand new spark plugs rusted within 4 months. Bled the coolant system more than a hand full of times, but it continues to build pressure. I even changed the radiator cap. When I press the gas to speed up, my temp gauge rises all the way, especially when I'm idling. Then all my coolant dumps into reservoir. Compression is about an even 120 across, and my fluids are not mixing.
List of things done:
Distributer cap
Rotor button
Radiator cap
Spark plugs
Fresh oil change
New starter
New thermostat
Multiple coolant bleeds
All advice and opinions welcome.

If you performed compression test correctly, all your compressions are below minimum (135 psi) indicating engine wear, valves leaking, head gasket leak, or all of these.
A leakdown test would disclose where compression is being lost; rings, valves, cooling sytem. Runup in temp under load and coolant push into reservoir suggests hot gas leaking into cooling system.
good luck

No, the throttle wasn't wide open, but either way...it gave an even psi reading all the way across. It wasn't getting any fuel or spark so the engine could free spin.
