97 accord failed emissions, code P0725, read here that ignition coil is problem. Was
Need help w P0725 code that failed my 97 accord for emissions. Saw post for replacing ignition coil, said definitely not a trans problem. Advice needed. Thank you

P0725 = engine-speed input circuit malfunction
Is it a V-6 engine? I think that's the only one where I heard the coil mentioned as the problem. I don't have a shop manual for that generation (regardless of engine) so I don't know where that signal originates. But I will say that it could just as likely be faulty wiring back to the ECM so check that before throwing parts at it.
