Default 97 accord runs with scanner only

Just got through head replacement, timing belts & crank sensor
Couldn't get this to fire up until I hooked up a scanner from auto zone
Gave codes po141 & po135 oxygen sensor heater
As soon as I disconnect scanner car stalls and no spark or fuel pump working
Checked fuses, relay and all connections what gives? At a loss

That's what I thought it was But I searched this whole engine top to bottom and can't find a ground anywhere, can I make one and where should it connect to?

The thread has a photo of the location. That connection definitely necessary. It is on the intake manifold plenum.

VTEC and non-VTEC have that same ground.

G101 is connected to:

VSS, radiator fan switches, PGM-FI main relay, DLC (OBD connector), and PCM/ECM, plus shielding between the PCM or ECM and these components (all have BRAIDED wires): CKP/TDC sensor, Countershaft speed sensor (A/T), CYP sensor, Mainshaft speed sensor (A/T), and Primary and secondary HO2S.

You car will have starting problems without it, as the PCM/ECM and main relay uses that. The PCM/ECM and the main relay affects fuel injection and fuel pump control.

This attached photo is for the harness connector for the TDC/CKP sensors. This connector is part of the main engine harness. Follow along the main wire harness to look for the separate harness wiring that should have been connected to G101.

Connect the ground G101, the code(s) may no longer be there afterward.

You may want to leave the negative battery cable off for a short while to reset the PCM/PCM or pull the back-up fuse.
