Default 97 Accord Speedometer Trouble

So yet another problem with my accord. My speedometer went out. I determined it was the small PCB on the back of the speedo head. My question to all of you is, does anyone have a spare gauge cluster lying around that they would be willing to part with for fairly cheap. It needs to be for a 94-97 EX 2.2L VTec MT. The guys at the ONLY local salvage yard insisted that a cluster from a 94 EX with an AT would work. They were wrong and I am out 50 bucks. My second question is who wants or needs a gauge cluster for a 94-97 EX w/ AT. As far as i know it works. I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong area but I am at my wits end with this car and i just want to get it working right for once.

You should be able to take the small PCB from the replacement speedometer and install it on your current speedometer. That should fix the problem.

Just to be thorough, when the speedometer does not work, does the cruise control still work?

That was my intention with the pcb from the cluster I bought however it was from an automaticband doesn't work. My cruise control does not work but that stems from an entirely different issue. I have already pulled and tested the vss and it is good.
