Default 97 Accord Trip Counter Not Working?

I just noticed that my trip counter is not working at all...it is just sitting on 3 big fat zero's...but the odometer is still working fine. Any suggestions???

Never had this with "just" the trip, but I have freed up my odometer before by resetting the trip a few times and the maint reminder...of course this was on my 95...same gen but might be a bit different.

Ok, haven't gone out on a limb lately (today)........pull the trip reset-could it be stuck in preventing the "roll"?

TexasHonda posted on this before. He suggested that maybe WD-40 could get the gears to free up the gears. You would have to pull the gauge cluster, but it may be worth a shot.
