Default 97 Honda Accord Fan problems

So I bought a 97 honda accord last week for 3900, has 83,000 miles on it, and runs great. The seller told me the AC doesnt work and Im ok with it. Here's the problem my defrost and all the heater buttons don't light up or turn on at all in the car. The fan also doesnt kick on, I've checked all the fuses inside and out and they're all fine so I just dont know what to do. I'm not great with cars so any help would be great.

Open the common DIY index. There is a shop manuals link where you can get a 94 manual. That will help you a lot, as it is almost identical to your 97.

Unplug the electrical connector to the fan motor (under passenger glove box). It is a two wire connector. Turn on the fan, and use a volt meter to see if you have 12V across the two pins to the fan motor.

Check those same two pins on the motor to ground, note any voltage and or resistance and which wire (YEL/BLK or BLU/RED). Also double check fuse #8 (7.5amp) and #17 (30amp).
