Need help, Was working on a friends car today doing a radiator swap. What is the part that the upper radiator hose is connected to on the engine block side called? Got coolant leaking from it, checked the seal and it looked good, tried tightening down the bolts. Want to change the seal to see if this fixes the problem but couldn't find what the part was called in the chiltons manual.

Upper radiator hose nozzle is #9 in this picture. The nozzle is probably a dealer-only part. The O-ring seal #7 is probably only a buck or 2 at the dealer. Since that's an O-ring, overtightening the bolts will NOT do ANYTHING for leakage.
Or is it leaking where the hose clamps to the nozzle? Remove the hose & clean up the crud real good.

The list says Thermostat housing which is NOT correct. T=stat housing is at the lower hose. If you call it the T-stat housing the parts guy will just get confused.
I'd print the picture, take it to the parts counter, & point to the one you want. I'm pretty sure the pictures come from Honda's electronic parts catalog, so the guy behind the parts counter is probably looking at the same picture on his computer.
