Start with the CYP sensor once you know that AutoZone gave the right number.

P1457 will not cause a non-start condition, so ignore it for now.

But first tell us whether it's a 4-cyl or a V-6. They are VERY different from each other.

I think the CYP sensoris inside the distributor. Look & try to rule out loose/dirty/corroded connections where the wiring harness plugs onto the distributor.

 

it is a 4 cyl vtec but sould i just get a new distributor????

 

First you should rule out wiring problems. You'd feel sorta silly after gettinga new distributor then finding out it isn'tfixed because itwas a broken wire all along.
