Slips and then shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. Little did I know that Honda had issues common to their cars with auto trans. So now that I know what issue I have. Whats the best course of action? I dont trust a trans shop to tell me what they think. The car only has 95k miles.

 

Honda had extended some kind of warranty for those, out to something like 100k miles. Most likely there was also a time limit that has expired, but it's probably worth a phone call to a dealer.
