Default 98 Air Intake hose replacements have an extra hole?

Title, every replacement hose I can find online for my 1998 Honda Accord 4 cylinder has an extra hole in it, like they're made to have an extra part attached or something, but the one that I currently have (which has a nasty crack and is giving me issues) doesn't have that hole or any extra attachment. What's up? Is there some obscure site I haven't been to that has the correct part that nobody else has, or is there supposed to be something else that I don't have?

While researching, I did see a question posted on cargurus that appears to be about the same exact thing (the other poster had already bought the replacement and had the original vs the replacement parts in pics side by side) and posted that he had to get a rubber plug and a clamp to hold said plug in place, with someone else posting something about it being for an ex vtec with a secondary air box, but I'm a complete noob when it comes to cars (my brother in law knows a lot more but he was also stumped by the weirdness of the internet offering seemingly incorrect parts), can someone please spell it out for me: are there truly no proper, original oem 98 air intake hoses available online?

Take a picture...There are different kinds and if we can see the picture, then we have an idea what you're talking about

The replacement probably covers 98-02, and there might be a part that goes there on a 01 or 02. Just a thought.

i had the same dilemma couple of month ago, didn't know what to buy. furthermore, i have a japanese model with f20b5 engine, and their hoses have different part numbers.
that extra hole is for a silencer which entered production in 2001.

eventually i bought this product and everything is ok:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/271584301039?ViewItem=&item=271584301039
it has that extra outlet but it's blocked inside, i suppose it can be cut open if one wants to fit the silencer.

these hoses may or may not have certain anchors in different places according to the spec, but they all fit the same.
