The dash and power everything comes on but when i crank it, it just dies, doesnt even try to turn over. The alarm system will automatically go off as well. Any ideas?

 

Double check the neg. cable. Sounds like something isn't making a good ground. Was this happening before or after replacing the battery......could be something else if this was before.

 

Bingo. Thank you, definitely saved me alot of grief. Guess i should get the cables that lock onto it

 

The starter motor takes a lot more power then everything else combined. If any connection is weak, most of that stuff will work OK but the starter won't.

It's always good to check both ends of all the battery cables for being loose, dirty, or corroded.
