99 accord - cut off for 2 seconds while driving

Default 99 accord - cut off for 2 seconds while driving

This morning I was driving about 50 mph and all of a sudden car cut off for about 2-5 seconds and then continued. This happend twice. yu know what might be the problem. maybe fuel pump or something?

Flaky ignition switch? Can you make it happen by wiggling your keys?
There has been some recalls; ask a dealer about your VIN.

This exact thing happened to me. It shut off once or twice while i was on the freeway. it was scary. It turns out there is a recall on the ignition switch. Once it was replaced, it was fine.I would definately call the dealer. If it's a recall, it's free....

yep, sounds like the electrical portion of ign switch x2
