Cool 99 Accord Stereo Code Question

I recently purchased a used 99 Accord for my daughter. Great car and in great condition. However, I disconnected the battery terminals yesterday to clean the posts/connectors. Now she says the stereo will not turn on and is asking for a code. The owners manual says there should be a card with a code on it. I am sure the original owners lost this card long ago. I can not find it anywhere in her owners manual. What can I do to get the code so she can listen to her stereo again? Thx.

Look in the glove compartment or armrest storage to see if there is a sticker with radio code there, sometimes a dealer or the owner places it there. Alternative is to go to a Honda dealer and present proof of ownership, like registration to obtain code. Generally, they will not charge to provide the code unless they are not very customer oriented.
