Default Abs brake lights intermittently come on

Hello, my daughter's 1995 ex has the abs and brake lights coming on intermittently while driving. Seems to happen more so in cold weather or, when hard braking. I checked the code by the 'jump' method today and found an indication for a problem with the parking brake ...two short flashes followed by one short flash. So, I checked the PB and it seems to be doing its job. I tried to adjust using the press the brake pedal down, pull the PB up, release the brake pedal method as well as adjusting the cable in the center console but the lights came on again after the adjustments. Brake fluid is not low and looks semi clear. Any ideas as to what to check next?
Btw, I also found a cel code for the egr valve lift sensor while checking the codes, I will tackle that another time, my guess is that the egr ports are clogged.
Thanks for any help.
Bob

Just a reach, is it possible the "float switch" inside the master cyl is sticking? You can unplug the wires and drive a bit and see it that prevents the issue?????

When you had the console off, did you check the PB switch, it could be dirty making the car "think" the e-brake is on?

Thanks Poorman for the assistance, I checked the float, it seemed to be fine, so went into the console to check the p brake connection and it had something spilled on it so I cleaned it off and re-connected. Then, I took the rear wheels off to check the parking brake action and found the right rear to be sticking, one of the rear caliper pins was sticking so got it cleaned up, back in, re-adjusted the pb and now all lights are off. Now, on to fixing the rear brake pin/rotor/pad issues.....
Thanks for your help.............sorry it took a week, daughter had the wheels!
