Just bought the car for my daughter 3 days ago and now the YELLOW ABS light is on all the time but only after starting the engine and hearing a noise coming from under the hood at the ABS system in the front left side fender. What the heck, stopped by dealer nd parts guy said ohh you need to spend a grand to replace that unit, tell me he knows nothing PLEASE!!

Have you shorted that service connector under the glove box to determine what is causing the ABS light to come on? That will give us a pretty good idea of what is wrong with your daughter's abs system.

The abs codes that will flash have two component numbers. When you turn the key to the II position, the abs light will stay on for 2 seconds then turn off for 2 seconds. It will flash the main code, pause for 1 second, then flash the sub code. There will be a 5 second pause, and it should repeat the code(s) 3 times.

Beginning in 1998 Accord has a completely different ABS system with different error codes & different syntax of flashes.
