My wife was in a little fender bender this morning. It was completely her fault and nothing was wrong with the other persons car so we didnt get police or insurance involved.
Basically the back quarter panel has unsnapped and cracked a little.

I dont have any experience with wrecks or auto body shops so I am trying to get some advice with what exactly I should do. How many auto body shops should we get estimates from and are there any ways to tell if we are getting ripped off?

Does anyone know about what this should cost to repair?

probably 650-1150 dollars, get est from at least 3 different shops. also, if you tell them that insurance is not being used they will usually lower their price. the labor is what they are going to charge you the most for.
