Exclamation Accord '07 driver-side window won't move but makes clicking noise

Vehicle: Honda Accord 2007 LX 2.4L 4door ~200,000 miles

I am having an issue with my driver-side window not moving up or down and have researched the problem extensively, any advice would be appreciated. My vehicle had a common issue of only the driver-side window working for quite some time and I knew I would need to replace the master switch from researching but put off doing so as it was not critically urgent. My driver-side window started veering off track when it was raised above the 3/4 position and then became stuck altogether in the down position with no activity. At this time I went ahead and replaced the regulator and motor for the driver side as well as the master switch. I initially installed a $35 aftermarket master switch and found that the rear windows and passenger window started working with complete functionality but the driver-side window remained stuck and the power-lock was finnicky; it functioned perfectly most of the time but sometimes remains stuck locked or unlocked temporarily. I then replaced the master switch with a $175 OEM part and found that it did not resolve the new problem. I have checked the fuse and it is in good shape. I have not yet checked the power window relay but intend to. I have not yet tested from the motor and switch along the wiring harness with a multimeter but will be picking one up to do so. Worth noting is that the main connection for the driver side wiring harness power is fairly burnt from something but it has been that way since I got the car a decade ago and it has not been a determined source of any issues so far. If anyone can provide information on something I may have overlooked it would be much appreciated; at this time I am not sure where to go after testing the wiring harness and re-checking the window regulator installation (although I have installed a regulator before and am quite confident it was done correctly).

Symptoms:
  • Front driver-side window won't move up or down - makes clicking noise when pressed
  • Power-lock button works 80-90% of the time but occasionally sticks in locked or unlocked position temporarily
Completed Actions:
  • Brand new window regulator assembly and motor in driver-side
  • New cheap aftermarket Master switch
  • New OEM Master switch
  • Fuses checked and good
Pending Actions:
  • Test switch and wiring harness progressively using multimeter
  • Test power window relay

There is no need to test the power window relay, as it does not affect or is used for the driver's front window. The power window relay is for the 3 other windows; those windows work, which confirms the relay is okay too.

Get a piece of spare wire or a small paper clip. Pop the driver's master switch up and disconnect the 23P connector.

At the harness side 23P connector, jump cavity terminal no. 10 to no. 11 to see if it lowers the driver's window.

To raise the driver's window, jump cavity no. 10 to no. 23.

Report results. If it lowers and raises like that, the cause may be the driver's master switch.

If I remember correctly there are different part numbers for the different year's 7th generation Accords driver's master switches.

Thanks for your reply, I had a feeling it couldn't be the relay when the other windows were working but it's good to have that confirmed.

I will jump the terminals you suggested tomorrow and report back what I find. The master switch I used should definitely be correct as I sourced the part number directly from RockAuto.com with my exact car year and model but it'll be good to check anyway.

Luckily if I need to continue troubleshooting from there my multimeter arrives tomorrow.
