hi i am the new owner off a 99 t reg accord what a nice car to drive

its a automatic tiptronic thing and the problme is when u take her out gear i e park it revs high and when in drive to really idels low like 200 rpm and sometimes stalls especially when approching junctions and stuff

been told its the iacv is this correct and if so has anyone got one its really irratitating

Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) is likely problem. It can be removed and cleaned w/ throttle body cleaner. Also clean the throttle bore (reachable part) and throttle plate (both sides) using a toothbrush and throttle body cleaner. Note, the IACV could be faulty (solenoid drive open) so check that 12V moves the valve.

What is a t reg Accord? A 4-cyl or V6. Put details in your signature line.
