Whats up guys. Tried the search feature but didn't come up with any answers.

I had put on reverse indigo gauges a few years back and recently took them off. Well the removal didn't go as planned and my stock speedo looks like crap now. Here is my question.

If I get another speedometer off of eBay, will my ecu tell the computer the correct mileage or will it go off of the internal speedo mileage? Also besides the correct mileage, will there be any other complications switching out speedometers?

whatever the miles on the new speedp gauge are,, that is the miles that car will show........ECU has nothing to do with changing the miles on the speedo gauge.........Also make sure to ge the same brand gauge look in the gauge and see the brand it has 2 letters on the lower part ,,,,,ND ( nippondenso ) NS ( nipponseiki) ,, also make sure to get the proper gauge for the car,,,,, LX , EX ,AT, 5SP ..
If all is correct replacing gauge will be fine
