Default Accord 98 moves slowly under high external temperatures

Good day to you all in HAF, i have been noticing that my accord use to move slowly after passing through a stop such as traffic light, speed bumps when the temperature is high outside after travelling long distances. But when travelling in the morning before the sun comes up i don't experience such problems. i was told that the problem might be due to the intake of hot air by the engine, if this is true how do we solve the problem?. i am using the right coolant. All the spark plugs seems ok. This slow movement always occur after travelling long distances when the temperature outside is hot. Please i will need the members suggestion on how to resolve this. The car is a good car with not much problems but i do regular maintenance. Accord 1998, auto trans., 4cyl., 2.3 Lx. THANKS

Unless you have a North American spec car, I don't know how the engine compartment is configured on your car; that said, if it is at all like the ones here, the engine compartment air is not consumed as the intake system should reach to the front of the car and intake outside air.

The above said, the hotter the outside temperature, the lower the power your engine will produce; that plus you are more likely to be using the Air Conditioning which adds a significant power drain from the engine.

Has your apparent fuel economy changed?

the fuel economy is still normal. Even without AC on I still experience the same problem. but at cold condition or in the morning this doesn't occur the car moves without any hesitation
