accord coupe clutch problem
Hi guys
I'm on my third accord (this time a 2,0i vtec coupe) and I'm having a hard time diagnosing a clutch problem that I hope someone can help me with.
I'm having difficulty changing gear with the engine engaged. I've bled the system three times (including when I replaced the slave cylinder). There are no leakages that I can see. Before this problem occured, the clutch was working perfectly.
The only thing untoward is a creaking release fork.
As I don't want the expense (yet) of replacing the clutch, are there any ideas out there on what it could be?
Appreciated!
Shonyb

This was not there before the slave cyl change, correct?
Could you have gotten the wrong one? Does it feel softer than before, you talk about bleeding it (they are a pain). I've seen some that get the "one way" bleeder valves and use them to help/aid in this.
EDIT: And what year is this?

poorman 212..................bury the childhood tragedy or all is lost
Thanks for reply.....The coupe is a '99, the slave cylinder is right (the clutch was working perfectly for a time)
I've pressure bled the system, I've even 'back' bled the system. There was definitely no air in there

I know you were prob joking but I recently lost my 22 year old son (10-30-11). So that is my "childhood tragedy" and yes I did "burry him".....If you want to know more about who he was and what he was going to be doing with his life, search the off topic section for posts by me......"Know a good mechanical engineer"
