Default Accord radio replacement

Hi Everyone,
I have a 2003 Honda Accord LX 4 Cylinder in it was an OEM AM/FM Single CD Player which recently stopped working. I pulled out the old one and was going on ebay to buy a replacement when i noticed the shape seems to be the same for the 6 disc player and for the GPS. I'm curious if either of these units would be interchangeable as far as shape as well as the adapters in the back would they connect properly for the GPS? How about for the 6 disc changer? Thanks for any help you can give me!
Bob

Is there a reason you want an Accord OEM radio?

I've got one in my car - but when it dies - I'll be replacing it with an aftermarket stereo from Crutchfield. You get harnesses and install kits and it's no more difficult to install than replacing the OEM radio.

Compared to a new OEM Honda stereo - you get alot more bang for your buck from Crutchfield.

I know, that was my first thought i'll get something MP3 Compatible and it'll be much nicer, but my wife says the buttons are too small and she doesn't like the way it looks. Can't really argue with the boss

You can install the OE GPS system, but it blows and its like $600 dollars from ebay plus you will need a CD which is probably another $50. I am not sure where the GPS module is located, if it separate from the radio (like under the seat or something) then you will need to buy that also. You will need a different wire harness also. All and all it will runn you about a grand. Might as well get what you had and buy a garmin, as far as navigator it is a lot better then stock OE navigator.

Good Luck.

You can still hook up an MP3 player to your OEM radio. You need to get one with the CD changer option - and use the CD changer output for this device.
